- Parents arriving by car must park safely and vehicles are parked at the owner's rish. Always be vigilant and never leave doors or gates leading to the nursery of day camps open.
- Parents are reminded that only they or persons they have previously authorised may collect their child. Please do not allow others parents or visitor to enter the premises as you leave as access must be controlled by a member of staff.
- Children should be fully vaccinated for their own protection and the protection of others who are either too young or unable to be vaccinated. However, this is not a condition, so parents should be aware that there may be children attending that have not been vaccinated.
- Parents are responsible for ensuring that the nursery or day camp has up to date information about their child's medical, dietary and development needs. The Manager must be notified if a child contracts and infectious or notifiable disease. Children may not attend while they are infectious.
- Children's illness and all accidents are recorded in the Children's Accident book. The team are trained to provide basis care and first aid but should a child's condition require more immediate, qualified attention and a parent is not contactable or would take too long to collect their child, the team will seek immediate medical attention and remain with the child until the parents arrive.
- Tiny Toes only use transport that is licensed by the Local Authority and operated in accordance with the Code of Practice for School Transport.
- Within the nursery, Tiny Toes will administer prescribed medicines if the Manager considers that the Team have been given sufficient information and training to do so. A temperature reducing medicine such as Calpol may be given as a single dose in an emergency where Parent's have given prior written consent Tiny Toes do not administer any medicines to children attending the activity day camp. The team will assist children with their treatment if they have a long term medical condition such as asthma or diabetes providing Parent's provided written instructions in advance.
